Tight tolerances require the use of our low profile rim tape such as Velotape (included) to avoid tire installation issues. Tubeless valves can be purchased separately. Veloplugs are not recommended on Aileron wheels.
Rear Convertible Disc hub converts from 135mm quick release to 142x12mm thru-axle compatibility and will accept Shimano HG, Campagnolo 13, or SRAM XD cassettes. Wheelsets include all the axles and one cassette body configuration. Shimano HG cassette body includes a spacer for use with 8/9/10 speed systems.
The Front Convertible Disc hub includes the caps to convert from a QR, 12mm, and 15mm thru-axle.
Our Disc convertible hubs are laced up with Sapim Cx-Ray Bladed spokes, using alloy nips for a race day performance oriented hand built wheelset.
