The A23 Pro build partners our newly designed proprietary hubs with our A23 and A23 OC rims. The offset flanges on the rear hub and the off center drilling on the OC rim provide precise tension. This allows for a symmetric wheel that is stronger and stiffer which optimizes power transfer more than a center drilled rim laced to a 'traditional' flanged hub. Using a 23mm wide tire with the A23, you achieve tubular ride qualities while retaining the convenience of a clincher. Increased cornering abilities especially at high speeds without sacrificing rolling resistance makes the A23 wheelset THE set for crits, road races, and cyclocross.
A23s are tubeless ready wheels. They feature tight tolerances in the bead area of the rim, and Velotape is required for proper tire fit with or without tubes.
